This aloe, tucked away in the courtyard where I do raku firings, seems to thrive on neglect. After being pretty much ignored all summer, it has suddenly burst into bloom.

Just looking at your fall garden colours! I see you have an aloe-vera plant! They’re the best, great medicinal properties!
