This Mardi Gras mermaid mixes a marvelous martini.
She’s only half finished, and her entire body wouldn’t fit on my scanner, so I’ll post a photo of the fully completed mermaid in a couple of days. Fun!

Oh. My. Gawd. I’m fighting a cold, we have mumblety-seventeen feet of snow here, and this piece of artwork made me grin and grin like a Mad Maniac! She is FAB-U-LOUS. (okay, magnificent, marvelous, museworthy, mystical…to keep with them Ms, of course).
I love love, love your sketchbooks. I need to start one & just haven’t. I love coming to your blog & seeing your illustrations. You should do a book to publish. Love it.
