I am delighted to announce that my artisan sketchbooks – repurposed from antique books and vintage print goods – now have a permanent online shop. Take a look, and let me know what you think. Each old book is a unique individual, and I love them all.
I have a pile of sketchbooks already, none of them used, but I couldn’t resist buying one of yours 🙂 I had my eye first on the primer, but then I saw Black Beauty, one of my favorite books as a child. How could I not buy it! I’ve had Shelley Rhodes’ book on Sketchbook Explorations for a long while. Maybe this new sketchbook will be the thing that gets me to dive into it!
Congratulations on your new online vintage sketchbook store. Your selection is amazing! All the books are so precious but more importantly was the concept behind each one. Each one reminded me how important it is to really study a subject matter. It reminded me to really observe structure, form and function, and nature within itself. To get lost in the beauty of nature then demonstrated through artistic illustrations.
I love them too! Would you kindly note their seizes?
Thanks for a great suggestion. I will edit the listing to include size.
Just fantastic Val they are so lovely and also practical! Love the multimedia capacity and spiral binding!

Congratulations on your shop opening! I think that’s awesome!
They’re all so unique. Y favorites are the antique butterflies and “A Bunch of Cherries “
